We're hoping for good things as the Giants embark on what we hope is yet another post-season run. At this location it's certainly an anxious time, but honestly it's nowhere near the drama of 2010.
Don't misunderstand, we want this fourth title in seven years very badly. But I;ve noticed while trolling Social Media than some of us have become a little jaded; myself included. We've seen rings.
It wasn't so long ago that old-timers like myself were looking at the down side of decades of frustration, having resigned ourselves to the fact that we'd die without having seen a Giants Parade. For us it had been a 40-year trip through purgatory that had left us bitter and angry with the state of our team. Personally sitting through Game One at Oakland and Game Six at Anaheim hadn't helped the mood.
Then it happened, and the world was good.
We'd like to look back at that time with this repost. Please read, and remeber. We're luchy fans.
